EXPERTISE
Recognized expertise in railway horns
For more than 30 years, MAS Ferroviaire has been manufacturing TGV horns and audible train warning devices for railway networks in France and internationally.
Our business is simple to define, but demanding to master: producing reliable railway horns, capable of operating sustainably in demanding environments, while respecting railway acoustic and regulatory standards.
Our equipment is currently used on passenger trains, high-speed trains, locomotives, as well as on railway maintenance and work vehicles.
The railway sector imposes very specific constraints. A TGV horn or a train horn is not simply about producing sound: it must be perfectly identifiable, sufficiently powerful, stable over time and comply with safety requirements.
At MAS Ferroviaire, each audible warning device is designed taking into account:
- acoustic constraints specific to rail
- climatic and vibrational conditions
- requirements of railway operators
- European and international standards
Genuine TGV horn: safety, power and acoustic control
TGV horns play an essential role in railway safety. They signal the arrival of a high-speed train in sensitive areas such as level crossings, work zones, or urban environments.
Our railway horns for TGVs are developed to guarantee:
- sound power complies with current standards
- excellent auditory recognition
- perfect repeatability of the sound signal
- proven long-term reliability
Each horn is individually tuned and tested to ensure consistent performance once installed on rolling stock.
